  • Lisa, sorry I'm late in getting back to you. This looks good to me....thanks for your working in putting it together.
    Roger

April 30th - (45 Minutes)

  • Looked over survey and opened it for data collection
  • Email sent to Darci
    • Darci – below you will find the Student Technology Survey we worked together on setting up to analyze the students perception of technology usage in the classroom. When you conclude the testing this week, could you drop me a line and let me know so I can take a look at the data collected?
Did you have an idea of how to administer the staff survey? I know we didn
t want to overwhelm them during testing, so I would just like to make sure we can administer it before the end of the school year.
If you are free this week sometime I can meet with you and set up the observations as well or further discuss how we would like to handle those.
Thanks for all your help on this. I
m hoping to gain some great data for our district.

  • Final Reflections
    • I have felt very supported by my mentors during this process. There was so much discussion held here and there that was hard to document, however, the learning I took from developing my surveys and researching was overwhelming. I definately have a new apprectiation for what Darci does for our district.
    • I have discovered that time is a huge factor in anything that is accomplished in our district. Teachers are stressed over standards to meet, but in my researching of the NETS, I believe that the more they work to meet these standards, the more educational value that will come to their projects in the end.
    • The future of my Practicum is only beginning. The majority of my data collection will come in May after we administer the surveys. After determining the needs of the staff, the summer will be spent organizing 5 professional development nights based on the data. I feel strongly that I will be supported in this adventure of my career because the need for these sessions will be prevaliant in the data. I look forward to working with Lindsey and Darci on setting these up and the additional wealth of knowledge and professionalism I know I will gain from working with the two of them.
